Speakers were Dr. Louanne Bachner on the “Recent Catholic Teachings on Ecumenism” and The Reverend Harold C. Skillrud, D.D. on “The Lutheran-Catholic Dialog”

The purpose of the workshop was to articulate the Roman Catholic Church's understanding of its relationship with other Christian Churches, especially the Lutheran, as well as non-Christian faiths in order that fruitful and constructive dialog might take place. This workshop brought attendees  you up to speed on the Church’s goals for and teachings on ecumenism as well as offered ways to move forward in praying and working together with other believers.
